Dan Perjovschi work combines drawing, cartoons, and graffiti in large scale artistic piece drawn directly on the walls of museums, galleries, and contemporary art spaces. His work generally comments on current political, social, or cultural issues. Perjovschi’s work has been widely exhibited internationally in numerous group and two-person shows and in such recent solo-exhibitions as Drawing-Drawing, Gregor Podnar Gallery Lublijana (with Goran Petarcol), Slovenia (2004); Attila, Protokoll Studio Cluj, Romania (2004); No idea, Schnittraum Koln, Germany (2004); Ich habe keinnen zeitraum, Brukenthal Museum, Sibiu/ Hermannstadt, Romania, (2003), to name but a few. Perjovschi is the recipient of multiple awards and has participated in numerous artist in residency programs through out Europe and the United States. |
