Richard Rezac is an artist whose geometric, quasi-minimalist sculpture has enjoyed, since the mid 80s, wide exhibition throughout the United States. Recent one person shows have been mounted at Marc Foxx, Los Angeles, 2000 and 2001; James Harris Gallery, Seattle, and Feature Inc., New York, 2002; and Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Chicago, 2003. Among numerous awards Rezac has been a recipient of the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award (2004) and the Louis Comfort Tiffany Award (1993). Since 1985 Rezac has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as an Associate Professor of Three-Dimensional Design, Sculpture, Drawing, and as Graduate Advisor. |
