Stephanie Snider received an MFA in Sculpture from the Yale University School of Art in 1998, and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1992. She also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 1994. In addition to numerous national and international group exhibitions she has had solo exhibitions of her work in Berlin and other cities in Germany, such as Es war einmal et al. at Galerie Thomas Schulte(2001) and Monotypien, at Galerie Niels Borch Jensen (2001). In 2000, she received the American Academy in Berlin's Berlin Prize Fellowhip/Emerging Artist Award. Her work has been reviewed in numerous publications both in the US and Germany. She has taught at the Yale University School of Art and Ohio University and most recently has been awarded an artists residency as Associate Artist, Atlantic Center for the Arts (2005).
