studios & facilities

Our graduate studios occupy one floor of Locy Hall which is located next Kresge Hall, where the department's offices, undergraduate studios, and classrooms are housed. Each student has a private studio space adjacent to a communal kitchen and storage areas. The studio area is used solely by AT&P graduate students, providing an environment that encourages interaction and discussion.

Graduate students also have full use of the department's studios and equipment in Kresge Hall including sculpture, photography and painting studios, a woodshop and computer lab, and digital photography and video equipment. Because of the program's small size, access to and availability of equipment and facilities is rarely a problem. Graduate students can gain access to more advanced computer and video technology by taking classes offered through other departments at Northwestern.
